Coronavirus Lockdown Extended in UP till 31st May 2021?

All the essential goods & emergency services including medical, industries, e-Commerce will continue to operate, the rest of the other services will remain shut till 31st May 2021. The Government said, “Vaccination too will continue in this period”.

The Ongoing Corona Virus Lockdown in Uttar Pradesh has been extended till 7 AM on May 31st. The Restriction, which came into force from 30th April, was supposed to come to an end on May 24. The Government said, Vaccination will continue in this period as well as all the essential and emergency services, including medical, eCommerce, grocery will continue.

UP has witnessed 7682 New Positive Cases on the last 24 hours.

Earlier this morning, Yogi’s Uttar Pradesh becomes the first State to test 3.7 lacs, people, for Corona Virus in a single day. The statement issued by the government announcing the extension of Lockdown said, “The Uttar Pradesh government is committed to safeguarding the life and livelihood of people of the state. Keeping this in mind, the policy of partial Coronavirus Curfew was adopted”. The state has seen a positive impact of lockdown since 30th April.

E-Pass for traveling under lockdown in Uttar Pradesh

The Uttar Pradesh government has, however, exempted essential services personnel from the need to obtain an e-pass. Such workers can simply show their ID cards to move freely. It is mandatory for other people traveling to carry an e-pass under lockdown in Uttar Pradesh. People traveling can issue valid e-pass from here.
