Anti-Brahmins slogans on JNU campus buildings; JNU Vice Chancellor requests investigation report as soon as possible

JNU Go Back to Shakha

On Thursday, the administration was made aware of graffiti put on the doors of several faculty members that said, “Go back to shakha,” as well as other remarks scrawled on walls of the School of International Studies.

Some of the slogans on the wall are as follows: “”Brahmins Leave The Campus,” “There Will Be Blood,” “Brahmins Bharat Chhodo,” and “Brahmino-Baniyas, we’re coming for you!” We shall exact our revenge.” The phrases were discovered on the walls of the School of International Studies-II structure. ‘Return to Shakha,’ was inscribed on the wall of numerous Brahmin academics’ chambers, including Nalin Kumar Mohapatra, Raj Yadav, Pravesh Kumar, and Vandana Mishra.
The ABVP strongly opposes communist gangs’ frequent vandalism of academic spaces. The communists scribbled insults on the walls of JNU’s School of International Studies-II building. They have vandalised the chambers of free-thinking teachers in order to scare them.

On Thursday evening, the Acting Registrar sent a notification indicating that the Dean, School of International Studies, and the Grievances Committee had been invited to enquire and submit a report to the Vice-Chancellor Prof Santishree D Pandit.

A JNU teachers’ union also issued a statement denouncing the vandalism and blaming the “left-liberal gang” for it.

“While the Left-Liberal gang intimidates any dissenting voice, they urge voters to support European Commission officials who “can assert the ideals of mutual respect and decency, as well as equitable and just treatment of everyone.” ‘Civility’ and mutual regard’ What a heinous act of vandalism! “JNU Teachers’ Forum said on Twitter.
