Nishat Bagh:

Nishat Bagh, the twelve terraced lush green trees filled with beautiful flowers and fountains and a beautiful view of the famous Dal lake. It the second biggest Mughal garden constructed by Noor Jahan’s elder brother Asif Khan in 1633. Nishat Bagh is the go-to place for many photographers and couples in Srinagar.

Royal Leh Palace:

Royal Leh Palace is located in Ladakh’s capital town Leh. The beautiful Royal Palace, built in the 17th century to reserve as the residence of the Royal Family of the Namgyal Dynasty.

The Palace is a medieval Tibetan architecture, it even has a museum that has 450 years old painting collection, jewelry, and crowns displayed. The best season to visit this Palace is in summer.

Dal Lake:

Dal is known as the jewel of Srinagar. Tourists visit this lake for its beautiful traditional wooden house boats, floating markets, and colorful shikara’s. Pangong Lake:

Pangong Lake is of the most beautiful place in Ladakh with its crystal clear water and high peaks. The lake stretches 12 km long connecting India and China. The salty lake has no aquatic life and temperature ranges from about 30 to 10, Pangong attracts many migratory birds during the winter season in Ladakh.

Shalimar Bagh the Mughal Garden:

Shalimar Bagh is the largest of Mughal Garden. It was built in 1619 by Jahangir for his beautiful wife Noor Jahan. This garden overlooks the beautiful Dal lake and showcases the surreal Mughal architecture. Also, the garden has many varieties of beautiful flowers, lush tall trees of walnuts and almonds. It is located in Srinagar.

Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden:

Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden was opened in 2007 to improve tourism and floriculture in the region. It is of the top 5 tulip garden with the rarest varieties such as Queen of Night. It even has an annual festival which held in the month of March and May.

Pahalgam:

Pahalgam is located in the Anantnag district of Jammu at an elevation of 2749 meters above sea level. Also called the valley of shepherds. In fact, some of the stunning places of Pahalgam are Sheshnag lake and beautiful pine trees and apart from that, it is one of the best places to experience trekking and skiing. Pahalgam in itself is a beautiful place to visit on a family holiday, the usual temperature is around 2-3 degrees.

Amarnath Cave:

Amarnath Gave is one of the holiest shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva. Also considered as one of the most important pilgrimage sites for many Hindus. Also, the cave is believed to be the place where Lord Shiva revealed the secret of life and eternity to Goddess Parvathi. Inside the cave, you can see Shiva linga and two other ice formation of Goddess Parvathi and son Ganesha. This 5000-year-old shrine truly a must-visit place in Jammu and Kashmir for Hindus.
