<p>AIDS stands for acquired immunodeficiency syndrome. It is a life-threatening condition caused by immunodeficiency disease (HIV).</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Causes of AIDS :</h2>



<p><strong>HIV/AIDS</strong> caused by the virus and can spread through sexual contact, from mother to child during pregnancy, blood, childbirth, or breastfeeding</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Infection caused by HIV/AIDS :</h2>



<ul class="wp-block-list"><li><strong>Pneumocystis pneumonia (PCP):</strong> This fungal infection causes several illnesses. It declined if treated significantly with the treatment of <strong>HIV/AIDS</strong>.</li><li><strong>Candidiasis (Thrush):</strong> A very common infectious disease caused by HIV. It affects the mouth, tongue and food pipe.</li><li><strong>Tuberculosis (TB):</strong> The most commonly assosciated disease with AIDS. It can even cause death.</li><li><strong>Cryptococcal meningitis:</strong> It is the inflammation of the membrane and fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord. It is a common nervous system infection associated with HIV.</li></ul>

<ul class="wp-block-list"><li><strong>Clean Needle :</strong> If you are using needle to inject drug into your body make sure it is clean and don&#8217;t share with anyone.</li><li>Do not use alcohol and drugs.</li><li>Get vaccinated on time.</li><li>Do not feed your baby if you have HIV.</li></ul>
